CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen practises water survival skills

Jeremy holds on to the top of the Orion capsule, which is in a pool.

Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen and his Artemis II crewmembers practise water survival skills using a mock-up of the Orion spacecraft at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory.

Orion will splash down in the Pacific Ocean when it returns to Earth, and the crew will be met by a recovery vehicle. This training prepares the astronauts to exit the vehicle in a variety of different scenarios. (Credit: NASA/James Blair)
