Announcements of Opportunity

The CSA's Space Technologies Program, alone or in partnership with national or international organizations, issues announcements of opportunity for research on the development of new applications using Earth observation data. The CSA makes available, free of charge to researchers, datasets from RADARSAT-1 and other sensors from CSA supported missions. These opportunities are opened to the international Earth observation scientific community with specific thematic focus.

The CSA's Space Science Program receives proposals from researchers in universities, research organizations and industries across the country. These are in response to Announcements of Opportunities or Requests for Proposals regarding experiments or instrumentation within specific programs. Once a proposal has been accepted, the researcher(s) receive both financial and managerial assistance from the Space Science Program.
