Artemis II: SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft rolled out to launch pad ahead of launch
Due to quicker-than-expected completion of repairs and other work, NASA will roll out the Artemis II Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and the Orion spacecraft from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the launch pad on . The 6.75 km journey on a gigantic crawler-transporter will take nearly 12 hours in total. NASA will provide a live stream of the move.
The crew enters quarantine later today ahead of the first launch window, which opens on . If any technical issues arise before launch, or in case of inclement weather, it could also be postponed to a later time or date.
