Canadian Space Agency astronaut Colonel Joshua Kutryk and his Crew-13 crewmates launched to the International Space Station.

Voice of Joshua Kutryk:

SpaceX, thank you for the ride, it’s good to be here. To my colleagues, friends, and family in both countries, NASA, the Canadian Space Agency and the Royal Canadian Air Force, thank you for everything you’ve done to get us here. It’s the start of what will hopefully be a long, a safe, and an impactful mission.

To my family, Heather, Peter, and Anna, I miss you.

And to everyone else, thank you for the support. It is time for Crew-13 to go to work.

The crew docked to their new home in space in the fastest time ever for a Commercial Crew mission – 7 hours and 55 minutes.

After pressurizing the Dragon spacecraft Crew-13 crew members joined their fellow astronauts aboard the Station.

Voice of Joshua Kutryk:

Just want to say hi to everyone at home in Canada. It's been a while since there was a Canadian here. I cannot believe I'm here. What a crazy day. But it feels really good. Feels really good to have CSA back, the Canada flag back. I'm looking forward to a good mission… after some sleep. That's what I'm going to go do next. (crew laughter)
