2013-11-29 - Technicians are testing Alouette 1 before launch on a Thor–Agena rocket on September 29, 1962. John H. Chapman, who was responsible for the Alouette/ISIS program, was on hand at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California to supervise the launch.
