Joshua and Anil installed a solar array to help increase Station power.

But Joshua wasn’t the only Canadian involved in the spacewalk.

CSA astronaut Jenni Gibbons: worked as capcom to assist the astronauts still inside the Station.

Canadian robotics controllers: supported from the ground.

Canadarm2: securely held Anil via foot restraint and manoeuvred him around the Station.

Voice of Joshua Kutryk

“Anil, thank you for being a great spacewalking partner. It's been wonderful working with you.

A very special thank you to our crewmates, Jessica and Luke. We trusted them with our lives to get us in and out today, to control Canadarm flawlessly.

The EVA and flight control teams, you are phenomenal. You're masters of your craft. Thank you to everyone, and especially for the voices we had from Nicole and Jenni.

The final comment would be about the future. I suppose ISS is building towards future exploration missions in deep space. That's why we're doing this.
Thank you, great day everyone.”
