Joshua Kutryk thanks Canadians

[Joshua Kutryk]: Hello, everyone!

After years of preparation and training, I will be flying to the International Space Station.

I will be spending about six months there with the other crew members.

And it is with great pride and humility that I will represent Canada during my mission. I’m very proud of our country’s history in space.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of going to space. I wouldn’t be here today without the support of my family, my friends, my colleagues, the Canadian Space Agency, the Royal Canadian Air Force and everyone who has made a difference in my career.

Together, we will get to experience the start of this new adventure.

Thank you for being here.

Ad astra!
