Underwater training for CSA astronaut Joshua Kutryk

Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk and NASA astronaut Marcos Berrios work under water during SEATEST 7 training.

Astronauts participate in SEATEST, which stands for Space Environment Analog for Testing EVA Systems and Training, to try out different scenarios in an environment that mimics microgravity. The main goal of SEATEST 7 is to optimize the transport of cargo from landers to crewed pressurized living spaces, like a rover or a lunar habitat.
