Jenni Gibbons acts as Artemis capcom

During the Artemis II mission, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jenni Gibbons acted as Artemis capsule communicator, or capcom. 

Capcoms act as the voice between mission control on the ground and the crew in space. Jenni was also CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen's backup for the Artemis II mission, going through all the same training as the prime crew.   (Credit: NASA)
