Artemis II crew and “Rise”

The Artemis II crew unveils their zero g indicator (ZGI) named Rise. 

The ZGI has become a space flight tradition that visually indicates when the crew begins to experience microgravity after launch. The plush was designed by California second-grader Lucas Ye, who was inspired by the famous Apollo 8 photograph “Earthrise.”
