Col. Jeremy Hansen and Col. Joshua Kutryk, who are Canadian Space Agency astronauts and Royal Canadian Air Force members, joined Brigadier-General Christopher Horner, 3 Canadian Space Division (3 CSD) Commander, and Chief Warrant Officer Jamie Marshall at NASA's Johnson Space Center, in Houston. International Space Station's capcom Capt. Erin Edwards, Canada's first Astronaut Coordination Officer and first non-astronaut Deputy Branch Chief for Crew Operations at NASA, led operational briefings. They were joined on the Mission Control floor by CSA astronaut Jenni Gibbons.

During the visit, Col. Hansen received the King's Coronation Medal. Col. Kutryk and Capt. Edwards were each awarded their Space Skill Specialist Badges, and Jenni Gibbons was presented with the 3 CSD Commander's coin in recognition of her service to Canada in the space domain.
