Camping in the Canadian tundra to learn about lunar geology

Several camping tents spread out in the tundra with the setting sun in the distance.

Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronauts Jeremy Hansen and Jenni Gibbons, as well as NASA astronauts Christina Koch and Raja Chari spent most of the week exploring Kamestastin, a remote meteorite impact crater in northern Labrador, near the Quebec border, for planetary science and lunar geology training. Here is part of their camp at sunset. (Credit: Dr. Gordon Osinski)
