10 ways to bring space into your classroom

Our free online resources can help you spark your students' interest in space and STEM:

  1. Use our toolkits to brush up on your space knowledge and prepare your lessons. 
  2. Team up with other teachers to design cross-curricular projects with space as the common thread.
  3. Build a mini-greenhouse and grow Tomatosphere tomatoes using scientific inquiry – and make delicious space salsa afterwards!
  4. Introduce your students to coding using one of our activities.
  5. Show space videos to your students to introduce a science concept or as a conversation starter. 
  6. Explore Earth through photos taken by astronauts and satellite imagery georeferenced on our interactive map to learn about geography and Earth science. 
  7. Reward your students by letting them play our digital learning games.
  8. Decorate a classroom corner using our printable materials – add space-themed books, toys and even costumes.
  9. Create quizzes using our question banks about the Moon.
