Detailed description
On , CSA Joshua Kutryk and NASA astronaut Anil Menon will conduct a spacewalk to install a new solar array on the International Space Station. Together with previously installed arrays, it will help increase power generation capacity on the Station by up to 30%. Canadarm2 will assist the astronauts during operations by acting as a base for one astronaut to stand on.
This will be Joshua's first spacewalk, following in the footsteps of the four other CSA astronauts who completed spacewalks before him: Chris Hadfield, Steve MacLean, Dave Williams, and David Saint-Jacques.
