Old Crow Flats seen from space

This Sentinel-2 satellite image, captured in autumn 2024, shows the Old Crow Flats in Yukon. A mosaic of vegetation in various shades of green is visible north of the Porcupine River. The river itself appears brown, with numerous sandbanks visible in white. 

Crescent-shaped oxbow lakes and former river channels can also be seen in dark blue or black, illustrating the natural changes in the river's course over time. (Credits: ESA, Sentinel-2 data processed by Vertex)
