Software to remotely operate rovers

Scripting capabilities are the basis of automating various operations on space assets such as orbiting spacecraft, scientific instruments, and rovers on Mars.

Through the Space Technology Development Program, the Canadian Space Agency is enabling Savoir-Faire Linux to integrate a multi-function scripting capability into an existing planning and operations tool. Once delivered, the enhanced tool would be used to perform activities such as robotic deployments and satellite operations.
