<div begin="6.433s" end="10.999s">If selected, what personal items will you bring with you to space?	</div>
<div begin="12.3s" end="14.966s">There are two things I’d like to bring with me into space. </div>
     <div begin="14.966s" end="17.666s">The first is a real-life space pen. </div>
<div begin="17.666s" end="20.066s">I think this would be really useful in space </div>
<div begin="20.066s" end="24.132s">because you can write with it while floating around in space without gravity. </div>
<div begin="24.133s" end="29.199s">The second thing is a special rock that I found on a beach in New Zealand </div>
<div begin="29.2s" end="32.466s">because it would be a reminder of our beautiful planet Earth. </div>
     <div begin="32.466s" end="36.266s">As an earthling, I would be exploring the universe, </div>
<div begin="36.266s" end="40.066s">and I’d want to bring a piece of my Earth with me wherever I go. </div>
<div begin="40.066s" end="43.832s">If I’m chosen to go to space, I think I’ll be missing my family very much, </div>
<div begin="43.833s" end="46.833s">and so I’d want to bring something to help me remember them. </div>
<div begin="46.833s" end="50.999s">I’d bring a bit of art from each of my children that they made, </div>
<div begin="51s" end="56.733s">and from my wife I’d bring a watch that she gave to me early on in our relationship. </div>
<div begin="56.733s" end="63.266s">Hopefully those items will make it a little bit easier to be so far away from them for so long.	</div>
<div begin="63.266s" end="67.532s">I’d like to bring a family picture because in the happy moments</div>
<div begin="67.533s" end="72.299s">or the more difficult moments then I like to think about the people I love. </div>
<div begin="72.3s" end="77.366s">I’d like to bring a little bit of maple syrup because I love maple syrup </div>
     <div begin="77.366s" end="81.166s">and then I’d like to bring like a small USB card maybe</div>
<div begin="81.166s" end="84.466s">with messages and questions from people all over the world</div>
<div begin="84.466s" end="89.066s">so that I can think about those messages and answer the questions in space.	</div>
     <div begin="89.066s" end="91.966s">The first item I would bring has to be a camera. </div>
<div begin="91.966s" end="95.799s">That way, I could take photos of everything I see, share them with the world </div>
<div begin="95.8s" end="100.366s">and the world can see what it’s like as an astronaut through my eyes. </div>
<div begin="100.366s" end="103.799s">The second item I would bring has to be my iPod. </div>
     <div begin="103.8s" end="106.466s">I absolutely love music. </div>
<div begin="106.466s" end="111.899s">I love listening to music as I do work, and that way I can do that when I’m up in space. </div>
<div begin="111.9s" end="113.633s">So thank you very much for your question. </div>
<div begin="113.633s" end="116.633s">Keep interested in science because you never know: </div>
<div begin="116.633s" end="120.833s">one day that might be you up in space listening to your favourite tunes.</div>
