David Saint-Jacques : Hello!
I’m David Saint-Jacques, Canadian Space Agency astronaut. Right now I am orbiting the Earth
400 kilometres above you, on the International Space Station!
And I want to congratulate you on your excellent work! I had the chance to visit the FIRST Robotics
Festival in Montreal last year, and I was very impressed to see the energy, the talent and enthusiasm
present at this competition.
What struck me most was how hard you work and how well you collaborate all together.
This competition gives you skills and abilities that you’ll use throughout your lives. They’ll enable you to
tackle many challenges, whether you become scientists, doctors, technicians, engineers or even maybe
astronauts!
So stay curious, keep on learning new things and – don’t forget – dare to explore!
Bye bye!
