CSA astronaut David Saint-Jacques receives training on the Internal Thermal Control System

2018-02-20 – David Saint-Jacques takes part in training on the Internal Thermal Control System, which will keep him cool and comfortable when he is on board the International Space Station. 

Without thermal controls, the temperature of the Space Station's Sun-facing side would soar to 121 °C, while the dark side would plunge to -157 °C! (Credit: Canadian Space Agency)
