X-ray of nitrogen bubble in knee joint

This X-ray shows a nitrogen bubble in the knee joint of a subject experiencing decompression sickness. The darkish area between left femur and tibia is a build-up of nitrogen gas resulting from rapid decompression causing nitrogen to come out of solution in the tissues.
