Dextre Deployable Vision System (DDVS) Announcement

2016-01-07 - On January 7, 2016, the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for the Canadian Space Agency, was pleased to announce that a new vision system will be designed by Neptec Design Group and used on Dextre, the International Space Station’s (ISS’s) robotic helper. The system will help greatly with inspecting the Station’s external surfaces and sleuthing out signs of damage. (Credit: Canadian Space Agency)
