Space Shuttle Endeavour

Space Shuttle Endeavour rests on Launch Pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center, in Florida and would be launched on November 30, at 10:01 p.m. EST, on mission STS-97. Endeavour was the sixth construction flight to the International Space Station. Its payload included the P6 Integrated Truss Structure and a photovoltaic (PV) module, with giant solar arrays to provide power to the Station. The mission included two spacewalks to complete the solar array connections. (Credit: NASA)
