Canadarm2 grapples the HTV

2009-10-30 - The unpiloted Japanese H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV), unberthed from the nadir port of the International Space Station’s Harmony node, is grappled by Canadarm2 and taken a safe distance to be released into the Earth’s orbit. Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Robert Thirsk, NASA Astronaut Nicole Stott and European Space Agency Astronaut Frank De Winne were at the controls of Canada’s highly touted robotic arm.
