Game: Canadarm2 Simulator

Be the astronaut behind the commands of a virtual robotics mission!

If you've dreamed of being an astronaut at the controls of Canadarm2, the Canadian Space Agency has launched a new Canadarm2 game on its Website. The game, developed in part by the same robotics simulator used by astronauts to train at the CSA headquarters, was initially created for the Living in Space exhibit.

Mission Objectives

After completing a few training exercises to get used to the controls, you will be prompted to grapple a module and install it to the International Space Station. You will then have to relocate an astronaut riding Canadarm2 to complete the mission. Be careful not to crash the module or your astronaut colleague with the robotic arm!

Technical Specifications

The game is PC and Mac compatible, but is not available for mobile. If you're trying the game for the first time, you will need to download and install the free Unity plug-in.
