Consultation with the Canadian Space Sector on Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement

On at 5 p.m. at the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata, Ontario, the Government of Canada will be holding a consultation session with the Canadian Space Sector to discuss their experience to date with the Government Procurement Chapter of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), as it relates to space.

During this session, the Government would like to hear about industry's experience in accessing European space-related procurements that are covered under CETA. Please be prepared to provide the Government with concrete examples of experiences that you have since CETA was provisionally applied in , including opportunities, successes and challenges. Your input will inform the Government of Canada's approach concerning coverage of the Canadian Space Agency under the agreement.

The session will have no cost, but is limited to Canadian Space Sector entities. Please note that no media will be allowed at the event.
