Rendezvous and docking

On Flight Day 3, Monday September 11, 2006, the STS-115 crew began the final stage of rendezvous operations as Atlantis closed in for docking with the International Space Station (ISS). Atlantis performed the Rendezvous Pitch Manoeuvre, enabling the ISS crew to photograph the Shuttle's thermal protection systems.
