Space and Atmospheric Environment Advisory Committee (SAEAC)

Mandate:

  1. To advise the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) on the Space and Atmospheric Environment segments of the Earth and Environment Service Line. This includes advice on priorities, areas of research, selection mechanisms, funding areas and extent, and the use of vehicles to carry out the research activities.
  2. To express the concerns of the scientific community to the CSA.
  3. To keep the community advised of programs and events in the CSA.

The Space Science Program will ensure that the recommendations and resolutions emanating from the Advisory Committee will be given the highest consideration in our planning and decision-making process.

SAEAC meets semi-annually at varying locations across Canada.
