RADARSAT-1 Radiometric Calibration - Change in Radar Brightness

The information provided here is for estimating the change in the radar brightness parameter in single-beam uncalibrated products when compared to calibrated products, both generated by the Canadian Data Processing Facility (CDPF). This information, presented in tables and graphs, will assist users who have products generated by the CDPF prior to the date of calibration. To determine how to use the tables or graphs, consult the technical paper. From the data processing date, determine the payload parameter file number by viewing the RADARSAT Payload Files table below. After determining which payload number was in effect at the time of processing, view the calibration information for the beam mode and position contained in the Beam Calibration Reference Table. This table provides information on the calibration status of each of the beams. By clicking on the beam position in the table you can obtain applicable graphs and table for that beam.
