Only 2 weeks left to visit space exhibit Cosmomania
Looking for an out-of-this world activity? The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) invites you to visit Cosmomania, an exhibit on the last 50 years of space exploration.
Located at the CSA's headquarter in Longueuil, this free admission exhibit is open from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday.
There are only two weeks left to visit Cosmomania before it is shipped to its next exhibit site in Halifax, N.S. on August 16, 2010.
Over 4000 students and adults have visited Cosmomania since its grand opening in May 2010. Hands-on exhibits, life-scale satellite and rover mock-ups make science and space exploration interesting, accessible and fun.
Visitors can also see a replica of the landing gear for the Apollo Lunar Module that first landed on the Moon in 1969, developed by Canadian firm Héroux-Devtek Inc. from Longueuil, Quebec, and also take part in a virtual mission to Mars.
