The primary purpose of STS-100 was to install Canadarm2 (the Space Station Remote Manipulator System or SSRMS) on the International Space Station and to dock the Rafaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM), which carried scientific equipment to be transferred to the International Space Station (ISS).

Canadian "Handshake" Delayed:The manoeuvre dubbed as the "first Canadian robotic handshake in space" was put on hold as flight controllers evaluate a computer problem onboard the International Space Station.

In a delicate choreography 400 km above the Earth two generations of Canadian robotic arms worked together in space.
Flight Day 11 - April 29
The Expedition Two and STS-100 crews said goodbye and closed the hatches between the International Space Station and Space Shuttle Endeavour for the final time this morning. Endeavour undocked from the station at 12:34 p.m. CDT (1:34 EDT) as the two spacecraft flew over the southern Pacific Ocean east of Australia.

Flight Day 13 - May 1
The Shuttle leaves orbit, re-enters the Earth’s atmosphere and returns to the Kennedy Space Center for landing. Landing is scheduled for 12:11 p.m. (EDT).
