STS-77 Mission Schedule Highlights on NASA TV
(Based on Eastern Daylight Time)

NASA TV:

A feed of ground and mission activities on NASA Select Television was available to media covering from Johnson. NASA Select Television could be accessed through GTE Spacenet 2, transponder 5. The frequency was 3880 MHZ with an orbital position of 69 degrees West Longitude, with audio at 6.8 MHZ. This was full transponder service and was operational 24 hours a day.

Runco released the Spartan Satellite for the IAE operations and 24 hours of free flight (Rendezvous)

The Inflatable Antenna Experiment began to inflate with nitrogen gas atop the Spartan satellite

The astronauts downlink a videotape replay of the Spartan deployment

Casper conducted a Crew Choice TV downlink featuring scenes of the Spartan/IAE activity

Garneau used the Canadarm to grapple the Spartan satellite form its free-flying orbit

Garneau began to berth Spartan back onto its cradle in the cargo bay

Garneau conducted a videotape playback of the Spartan retrieval

Runco sent commands to deploy the PAMS-STU satellite from its canister in the cargo bay

Casper and Brown performed a 1.5 foot per second separation burn to complete the first stationkeeping data take effort with the PAMS-STU (Rendezvous)
