Astronaut David Saint-Jacques To Give Opening Speech at La Tempête des sciences Symposium at Cégep Garneau

On April 17, astronaut David Saint-Jacques of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) will give the opening speech for the fourth La tempête des sciences Symposium to be held at Cégep Garneau in Quebec City. The objectives of the symposium, whose theme La tempête s'éclate… dans les technologies (French only) concerns the surge of emerging new technologies, are to raise students' awareness of the variety of fields and occupations involving scientific practice and applications, as well as broaden their horizons in terms of the many scientific careers that remain unknown to most students. In his speech, David Saint-Jacques will talk about his career path, his work as an astronaut and the unique training that astronauts undergo.
