Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Chris Hadfield First News Conference Since Returning to Earth

Longueuil, Quebec, May 14, 2013 – Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Chris Hadfield will be answering questions from media representatives on May 16 live via videoconference from Houston.

Media present on site at the CSA headquarters will be able to ask their questions directly to Chris Hadfield. Media not present on site can send one question by email to media@asc-csa.gc.ca between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. (EDT) on May 16. Questions sent prior to 10 a.m. will not be considered. Please indicate your name, media affiliation, city and question. Due to time constraints, only a limited number of questions will be selected.

Media who do not have Canadian citizenship and want to attend the event on site have to immediately contact the media relations office in order to provide the information needed to have access to the event. Media who do not contact the media relations office prior to the event won't be able to access the building.

The media session will be webcast live over the CSA website. To ensure access to the feed, please connect at 9:50 a.m. as after that the system might be overloaded by users.

Individual interviews: Please note that there is no more availability for individual interviews at this time. The CSA's Media Relations office is currently responding to those requests that have already been received. New requests will be placed on a waiting list pending a better determination of the Astronaut's schedule and availability.
