Intellectual Property Management and Technology Transfer
Collaborative Research Agreement
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) encourages collaborative research projects involving experienced CSA research scientists and representatives of industry or the university community who wish to work together to achieve common objectives, such as the application of a concept or writing articles for publication. Submitted projects must be in line with federal government priorities.
A framework is provided for collaborative projects in the form of joint research agreements that are negotiated by the parties concerned and in which the ownership of intellectual property is defined.
These agreements, which may be two party agreements, describe the expertise and resources to be contributed by the partners.
