How to Find an Inhabited Exoplanet

The Institute for research on exoplanets (iREx), in collaboration with AstroMcGill and the Canadian Space Agency, invite you to a free public conference presented by David Charbonneau, an astronomy professor at Harvard University.

The presentation will be offered in English, and will be followed by night sky observations (weather permitting).

The conferences of iREx and Public Astro Nights are aimed at anyone interested by astronomy and exoplanets, regardless of their age or scientific background.

ArticNet Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM)

ArcticNet is funded by the Networks of Centres of Excellence of Canada. The ASM 2016 will welcome researchers, students, Inuit, Northerners, policy makers and stakeholders to address the numerous environmental, social, economical and political challenges and opportunities that are emerging from climate change and modernization in the Arctic.

As the largest annual Arctic research gathering held in Canada, ArcticNet's ASM is the ideal venue to showcase results from all fields of Arctic research, stimulate discussion and foster collaborations among those with a vested interest in the Arctic and its peoples.

About 600 participants are expected. The Canadian Space Agency will display a booth during this meeting.
