General Information

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) hosts a WebEx session to provide information on the Canadian Workshop on the Long Term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities. The workshop is planned in November 2012.

Objectives of the WebEx Session

The session will be an opportunity for participants to learn more about the Canadian Workshop and Canada's involvement in the Working Group on the Long Term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities reporting to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS).

Who can Participate

Canadian representatives interested in space related activities working in the space industry, governmental organizations and academia.

Registration Fee

There is no fee but on-line registration is required.

Registration is opened from September 13 to October 10th, 2012 inclusively.

2:05 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. Information on UN COPUOS and update on recent activities of the Working Group on the Long term sustainability of outer space
2:20 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Information on the Canadian Workshop on the Long Term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities planned in November 2012.
2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Question period and closing remarks.
