Mission STS-100

Mission STS-100 isn’t the 100th mission undertaken by the space shuttle. Nevertheless for Canada it is one of the most important spaceflights to date. Why? This flight gives Canada the opportunity to stretch out its wings (or arms!) and bring the very best of Canadian innovation and space robotics technology to the International Space Station! Space Shuttle Endeavour will transport Canadarm2 and Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Chris Hadfield to the International Space Station. During the first Canadian spacewalk, Col. Hadfield will install Canadarm2 onto its new home where it will become the builder and keeper of the largest orbiting laboratory in the history of humankind.
