Selected applicants after the preliminary interview stage are invited to first medical exam

Applicants who succeed the first medical exam are invited to undergo skill and aptitude tests as well as further medical exams

Successful applicants invited to undergo final interviews and final medical exams

Final selection made and Canadian Astronaut Candidates Class of 2009 announced

Astronaut Candidate Class of 2009 reports to the NASA Johnson Space Center
